Nordkapp, the ultima terra limes of Europe. A smaller monument still
bear witness of the visit of Oscar II in Nordkapp 1873. From the beginning
of the 18th century to the middle of the 19th, a significant immigration from
Finland and Sweden took place, and the Norwegians did not attain majority
until around 1860
